Singapore Study Tour

 On the 20th-26th of February, me and my fellow classmates went to Singapore on a Study Tour. We stayed there for 7 days and 6 nights.

 On the first day, as we arrived at Changi airport, we took our luggage and went searching for the bus we are taking to go to the Anderson dorm. It took quite a while though. Shortly after we arrive at the dorm, we carried our luggage towards the canteen in the dorm where our room keys were distributed. We were then given 1 hour to sort and arrange our things in our rooms and then meet at the lobby.My roommate, Janice, and I didn’t really sort our things though. We then head towards the next destination which was the Science Center using an MRT. As we arrived at the Science Center, we stopped by at McDonalds to have our lunch as we haven’t ate lunch. McDonalds was located close to the entrance of the Science Center. We enter the Science Center as soon as we finished our lunch. We saw lots of exhibitions inside. We then head to JCube mall where they sell various kinds of stuff. Most of us have dinner in Nandos. As it was already late at night, we head back to the dorm to take a rest.

 On the second day, my roommate and I woke up at 6 to wash up, have breakfast, and stuff and then meet the others at the lobby. We head to Church which was quite a journey as it was Sunday. I met my aunt there! I find the service stodgy. We were given a light meal after the service before heading to Universal Studios. In Universal Studios we, Alicia D, Felicia, Felice, Laurell, Janice and I, rode some rides such as The Mummy, Jurassic Park something (I forgot what its called), etc. We were given around 8 hours there. We, at first, continuously get on and off rides. But then, we become confused on what rides we should ride on and also places to rest as the weather is so hot. So we spent the last few hours going on childish rides. We then met up in front of the entrance and head over to Vivo city to have dinner and also some shopping. Then we head back to our dorm.

China Town

 On the third day, it was Monday! And that day, it was the first day of school at Anderson Secondary School. So I had to wake up earlier. Janice and i woke up at 5 and get ready for school. Before going to school, we had morning devotion and a few briefing before we walk over to that school. As we reached there, we were greeted warmly by the principle during the assembly and were introduced into separate classes. We were divided into several classes. I was introduced to class 2/1 and is in one class with Alicia C, Richard and Adriel. My buddy was Jon and Alicia’s was Srishti(I don’t know how to spell her name). I then realize that we are placed in the second grade. It was quite boring in class so what we did was opening our phones either secretly or when the teachers aren’t looking. We were then given snacks on the first break and also lunch at the second break. We only join school until the second break and then off we go to the dorm to get changed and head over to China Town. All I did there was go over to a cafe and drink. We then meet up and have dinner.

Garden by the Bay (super trees)

 On the fourth day, it was pretty much the same except we had to buy our own snacks on the first break. After school we went back to the dorm and get changed and then head to Marina barrage. We took some pictures on the garden up there and then head to Garden by the Bay. We again have McDonalds and then head to the center of garden by the Bay and go up on the sky walk. I took some pictures there. It was quite a scenery. It was already late at night as we watch the light show there. We then head to Angmokio hub which was one station away from our dorm to have dinner and also do a bit of shopping. At around 8.30 we head back to our dorm.

 On the fifth day it was also pretty much the same except that we went to Bugis. We had time for dinner and shopping. There are lots of shops and places there. We then went back to the dorm as we have to go to school again the next day

 On the sixth day which was the last day of school, we joined classes as usual and then at the second break we had photos together with our buddies and also with the principle at the stairs there and then head to the dorm and go to orchard. we were given a longer time as it was the last day to have fun in Singapore. I bought some things  there.

 On the last day, we met in the lobby all dressed and ready to go back to Indonesia. We took a bus again to go to the airport and then checked in the airport and flew back to Indonesia. I guess it was the saddest day.
