Easter
It
was Easter last Sunday, 27th of March 2016. The day that reminds us,
Christians, about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was crucified on the
cross by the Romans at Calvary. It is the culmination of the Passion of Christ,
preceded by Lent, a forty-day period of fasting, prayer and penance.
The
week before Easter is called the Holy Week which includes the Good Friday also
called Black Friday where Jesus Christ is crucified on the cross at Calvary,
crown of thorns were placed on his head, clothed him in purple robe, slapped
him on his face, pierce Jesus’ side with a spear. But on the third day he
resurrect. He was risen from his death.

On
the 27th of March 2016, my family and I went to church at 9.30 a.m.
to Praise, Worship and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. There are services
at 5.00 a.m., 9.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. I was in the service at 9.30 a.m. and
there I listen to the pastor telling us this and that. During the service I felt
quite sleepy as there is a Chinese translation that made the service seem really
long. I felt a bit relieved when the service is over
