My Last Holiday

Hi guys! It's been a while since my last post! Remember my last post about that speech video? Well, today I will tell you guys about my last holiday

Last holiday on the 28th of June 'till the 12th of July, my family, friends and I went to Australia. We went to 3 cities and started of with Sydney. We departed late at night from Jakarta, so we arrived in the morning there, stopped by at the hotel, drop our luggage and went sightseeing. Sydney has a lot of landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour and Sydney Harbour Bridge.  As we reach Darling Harbour around lunch time, we stop by a restaurant called Hurricane's Grill and ate a really delicious meal.

During our stay in Sydney, we went on a cycling tour around Sydney which is quite exhausting as the road goes up and down there, but we had so much fun because we cycle across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which is so high and windy.  We could see pretty much the whole city from there.

On Saturday, we spent the weekend going outside the city to Blue Mountain by bus.  Do you know why it is called Blue Mountain?  It is because there is a blue haze which reflected the blue color over the mountains.  On the way back to the city, we stopped by Featherdale Wildlife Park to see koalas, kangaroos, and more of Australian native animals.
I think the highlight of my trips was when we went to Dreamworld theme park in Goldcoast.  It was a really fun day! I tried almost all the thrilling rides, including Tower of Terror II, Motocoaster, and Hotwheels Sidewinder.
Goldcoast is a beautiful beachside city, which is nice even in winter weather. It is such a pity we only stay there for two nights.

Next and last stop for our trip is Melbourne.  We went to Mount Buller to ski, but too bad it was really crowded so we end up just playing tobbogan.  At the mountain, we stayed at a big house to accommodate all of us, with river upfront, big garden, game room inside and fireplace for the really cold day.  It was such a beautiful place to stay in. And plus, we could see wild kangaroos in the garden early in the morning.

Melbourne is very cold  and super windy in winter.  I think it was the coldest city among the three cities that I went.  But the city was nice, and has trams that goes around the city.  The Queen Victoria Market sells almost everything, from souvenirs to foods to clothes.  I had a really fantastic holiday. I hope I could go back there again!
