Scout Camp
Last Monday on the 2nd
of May we, the 7 graders of SMPK 1 BPK PENABUR, went on a scout camp (Pramuka).
We gather in school at 5.30 a.m. and
went to the camping location, which is the pine forest, using a military truck.
We waited for so long for the truck to arrive and at last it came. We were then
dismissed per class and our class was the last. We boarded the truck and off we
went to the camp site. There the teachers made us squat and stand over and over
again. We also had to make our own food for dinner and breakfast. Luckily we didn’t
have to make our lunch as it is provided. In the afternoon it rained quite hard
but our activities didn’t stop. We manage to play under the rain where the
ground gets muddy. For dinner, we cooked some fried shrimp, tofu and
beansprouts with sweet sauce. It wasn’t bad.
The next day, It rained heavily early in the morning but again we manage to continue our activities. We cooked fried
rice for breakfast. We then get changed to our scout uniform for a ceremony followed
by white games and hiking. After all that, we ate our lunch and prepare to head
back home. It takes a while as our truck was stuck so we arrived back at school
late.
It was a very tiring camp.

Well, avoid making the grammatical mistakes. Remember my suggestion? Be consistent in the use of Present and Past Tense.

The use of stronger and higher level of vocabulary can be enhanced by reading a lot.
